White Nexus 4 Coming at Google I/O? Already Spotted in Dubai

White Nexus 4 02

Yes, you’ve heard it right, the White Nexus 4 is real. How to we know it? Because the guys at The Verge got their hands on it during a Qualcomm event in Dubai and even got it on camera.

According to The Verge’s Ahmed Haji the White Nexus 4 has a “white area around the back glass have some metallic touch and looks great.” He even promised more photos take with his DSLR camera, thus we’ll have to wait a bit until the article gets updated.

Well this can only be good news as we might actually see the White Nexus 4 being officially introduced at tomorrow’s Google I/O event. Of course, there are some rumors saying that the Nexus 5 will be in the spotlight at this year’s Google annually event, but in my opinion the Mountain View-based company will keep the debut of the next-gen Nexus smartphone for another occasion. As you probably heard, we won’t even get Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie at Google I/O 2013, but another Jelly Bean flavored update, the Android 4.3, which was already spotted running on several Nexus devices.

Because Google will celebrate Android’s 5th birthday this October, the search engine giant will definitely want to keep the Nexus 5 and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie debut for that occasion.

In my opinion, we will see a slightly upgraded Nexus 4 on the stage of Google I/O, which will come with 4G LTE support, 32 GB of internal storage and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. Now, courtesy of The Verge’s discovery we can be sure that Google will also launch a white version of the Nexus 4.

Just in case you forgot, I will remind you the technical specs of the Nexus 4. The fourth generation Nexus smartphone sports a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display, has a 2,100 mAh battery, and is underpinned by a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with four Krait 200 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. The terminal also features Adreno 320 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. There are two internal storage options available 8 and 16 GB, plus all the connectivity features worthy of a high-end smartphone: all standards of WiFi, HSPA+, NFC chip, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, and 3.5 mm audio jack.
