At the launch event, Xiaomi also claimed that the Redmi 4A is by far the highest selling smartphone in its huge product list. The phone made up 30 percent market share of Xiaomi. Also, the company is setting up another manufacturing unit at Sricity in Andhra Pradesh. The new manufacturing plant will be under Foxconn and is already claimed to bear a production capacity of one smartphone per second when it goes fully functional. Besides, Xiaomi also shared that in India, it has sold whopping 1 million units of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in India.
