Xolo X1000 Launched on the Indian Market: 2 GHz Intel CPU and 4.7-inch display
We have previously talked about this particular model, the one that is ready to become “the fastest smartphone in the world” (well, I doubt it), when the guys at at Lava International have decided to launch the invitation for the launch event, that takes place on March 14th, several hours away from the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event.
Xolo X1000 is undoubtedly a powerful smartphone, and rumor has it that it’s ready to outmatch some of its rivals in the high-end segment, courtesy of the hardware – design combination it proposes. The terminal that now penetrated the Indian market is one of the few that wears the Intel Inside brand, next to Motorola’s RAZR I model that comes with the same impressive technical specifications. Moreover, the price of the Xolo X1000 will make it a competitive smartphone in the segment.
The new Xolo X1000 boasts a 4.7-inch display with HD resolution, but the main feature and probably the selling point of the terminal will be the Intel Atom processor, clocked at 2 GHz, which provides processing performance that outmatches the models launched last year.
Beneath the case of the Xolo X1000 you will also find 1 GB of RAM, HSPA+ connectivty (up to 21 Mbps supported) and 8 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards.
Unfortunately, the new smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but the good news is that on the Indian market, X1000 will have a price tag of only $369.
