The Sony Xperia ZL made its debut in Canada last week through Bell, Rogers, and Videotron, but if you were looking for a new and more interesting offer, then you should know that Mobilicity had just released the handset, so anyone interested can get the Xperia ZL from the mentioned retail. The phone is the non-waterproof brother of the Xperia Z therefore you will be able to buy a high end Jelly Bean based smartphone that comes with the latest apps, tools and capabilities available on the market.
Until now, Sony released the Xperia ZL in US, India, Australia, Russia and Canada but the market availability will soon be extended. Anyway, if you are interested in buying this device then here is what you should know: the Xperia ZL specs and features are including a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 13 MP camera on the back along with a 2 MP front facing one, a 2,370 mAh battery, a large 5 inch display and of course the latest version of the Android OS, the Jelly Bean 4.1 firmware.
As mentioned during the introduction lines, the Xperia ZL is now available on Mobilicity Canada and, as usual, the carrier is offering only the SIM free variant of the smartphone. This means that you don’t have to sign a new contract (there aren’t any contractual obligations), so you will have to buy the ZL on its full price tag of $599.99.
In case you choose to go for the Mobilicity offer, then you will also have to get one of the companies “simple and unlimited” plans, which are starting from a basic $25 per month while the premium data plan will cost you no more than $75 per month. So, what do you say, are you heading to Mobilicity Canada, or you rather buy a different device instead?
