Do you want to get a new Android tablet but you don’t want to spend all of your money on a high end handset? If you are interested in a decent device offered on an affordable price tag, then Acer Iconia One 7 might be just perfect for you. Even though the Iconia One 7 might seem pretty much identical with the Iconia B1, Acer did improve some things on this new budget friendly Android tablet.

The Acer Iconia One 7 has been released in Taiwan since February this year but an US release is already expected as the device has been recently spotted through FCC. Now, being a mid-range device don’t expect to see impressive specs and features spotted on the new Acer Iconia One 7. In fact the tablet is quite disappointing in both aspect and performances, as you can’t really find something that is worth mentioning.

Anyway, the Iconia One 7 specs will include a 7 inch display, 1.5 Ghz dual-core CPU coming from WM8880, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage memory, a 1.9 MP rear facing camera along with a 0.3 front facing shooter and a 3000mAh battery. The tablet is capable of HD video playback but it isn’t offering 3G support, or Bluetooth and not even GPS. Moreover the Acer Iconia One 7 is featuring the already outdated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and there is no word about a possible Android 4.4 KitKat official update.

So as you can see this tablet comes with basic performances though we can say that on a fair price we can enjoy decent specs and features. Anyway, as mentioned the tablet should be released in US during the following months. From what we know, the Iconia One 7 will be priced $115, which is just enough for an entry level Android device.
