The latest Android 9.0 Pie official update is now live for all Indian users of ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Max M2 devices.
Both models were launched last year running Oreo 8 firmware.

Android 9.0 Pie official update for Zenfone Max M2 and Max Pro M1 comes with tons of goodies and improvements. The new firmware update security patch is the March 2019 one and it comes with security improvements and tweaks.

Android 9 Pie brings new gestures, revamped UI, adaptive battery and adaptive brightness, customizable app actions, better security, a new and improved accessibility menu, and multiple other improvements.

The new Android 9 Pie update feels smoother and all devices seem to run faster than before, so you should install it as soon as it is arrives on your device.

All Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Max M2 users will get the new update in stages, which means not everyone gets the new files at the same time.

If you own one of these devices then you should receive the official update notification soon. Keep in mind that the new firmware update will only be released for devices that are still running stock firmware. If you've modified the OS in any way, then the new Pie 9.0 firmware files won't be available for installation.

Tell us in comments if you own an ASUS Zenfone Max device. If your device has also gotten updated to Android 9.0 Pie, then feel free to tell us more about the new improvements added by it.
