The Chinese phone maker Meizu has already launched a flagship smartphone this year, namely the Meizu Pro 6. The company is about to release a new phone called Meizu Pro 6s, about which we have plenty of information, the manufacturer's VP himself sharing an image featuring the upcoming product, and we know it will be similar to the Meizu Pro 6 in terms of design. The consumers we're expeting a handset with a curved display that would be powered by the Exynos 8890 processor as per previous rumors. Obviously, it won't be the case, but the smartphone will indeed have premium hardware components.
So far, we knew that the Meizu Pro 6s will be underpinned by a MediaTek branded chip, but we had no idea which one would be. Today, the phone appeared in the AnTuTu database and we finally found out. So, according to the documents, the terminal will be sporting a display with a 1080p resolution. When it comes to the memory, it will feature 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage, which is the same amount included in the Meizu Pro 6. Furthermore, will come with the same processor under the hood, specifically the Helio X 25 and the operating system of choice will be Android 6.0 Marshmallow, customized with the Flyme skin. In the camera department, the smartphone flaunts a 21 MP shooter located in the back, and a 5 MP one situated on the front.
So far so goo, but looking at the spec sheet we can't help but notice that these are the same specs sported by the Meizu Pro 6 too. Sure, we don't have the whole list of specifications, but those that we do have are basically the same as the ones of the company's flagship. The Meizu Pro 6s is said to be a little more powerful, so there might be some tweaks that we don't know about yet. Maybe, it will come with a larger display, or perhaps the camera sensors will be better. Anyway, the device is rumored to see the light of day on the 3rd of November, but we will surely find out more in the meantime.
