Since the first announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S 3 smartphone, there were leaked numerous rumors about its possible price and release date; but how can you tell which one of these are true or fake? Well, you can’t be sure, at least not before the official press release, which is expected to be announced by Samsung, through their tweeter page.

Samsung recently stated (during MWC in Barcelona) that the Galaxy S 3 official launch date, specs and any other information will be made public in the first half of the year, recommending us to follow their Tweeter account for further news. So far, this is all that is known for sure.

The Galaxy S 3 specs are rumored to include a large 4.8 inch screen (with full HD resolution), a 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor, an 8 MP rear facing camera along with a 2 MP one on the front and the Android platform with its latest version of OS, the Ice Cream Sandwich. A high end smartphone indeed, though there are still many aspect unknown.

I know that you can’t wait until its official release, but what do you say, is this screenshot true, or it’s just a scam? According to the advertise showed in the picture from below, the Samsung Galaxy S 3 (3G 850/1900MHz AT&T) is available for pre-orders.

Furthermore, the price offer is $799.99, a substantial discount from the “official” price tag of $999.99. So, what do you think, are you willing to spend that amount of money relying only on this questionable announcement? My personal advice is not to; at least wait until the first official details from Samsung.
