Check this brand new list of great Android video games that were launched since the beginning of 2015. You can choose from both free and paid games, but note that we’ve tried to list games that are mostly free of any extra in-app purchases. All Android video games are listed randomly, so feel free to check the small reviews and the Google Play Store links in order to find out more about each title.
Crossy Road – FREE
This game is a Frogger clone and it has been already downloaded on more than 500,000 devices. It is a highly addictive title, so you should think carefully before installing it as it might become a hit just like Flappy Bird. Every step you make counts as a point and your objective is to get as far as possible without being hit by incoming traffic, incoming trains and avoiding falling in the river… also, watch out for the predators in the sky. You can play this game for free, gain coins and unlock extra characters or choose to pay $0.99 for each new character without using the in-game coins.
Crossy Road is available for free from Google Play Store here. The game is free to play, but you will find in-app purchases and video ads that will add currency allowing you to unlock extra playable characters.
LEGO ULTRA AGENTS Antimatter – FREE
Ultra Agents has been launched by the LEGO Group and it offers you the possibility to defeat Antimatter. You will gain access to brand new technology, new vehicles, gadgets, and gear, so that you will get better chances at defeating all evil much more easily.
LEGO Ultra Agents is free for devices running Android 4.0 and later versions from Google Play Store. You can play this title for free without worrying for any extra in-app purchase.
N.O.V.A. 3 Freedom Edition – FREE
Gameloft has pushed a brand new NOVA video game that resembles Crysis and it isn’t that much more different than the previous title. However, it offers tons of fun and action and since it is free to play, then you can just take it for a test run. In NOVA 3 Freedom Edition you will find a FPS graphics engine with aim-assist for better control over the game’s functions.
N.O.V.A. 3 Freedom Edition is free to install on all Android 4.0 and later OS versions. Note that this title doesn’t contain any in-app purchases, but you will find tons of ads and other similar content.
Gunbrick – $2.99
Arcade-styled Android video games are getting more popular with each day that goes by and Gunbrick by Nitrome makes no exception. This game’s title describes the object that you will control as it can be used as both a gun and a shield. Its controls are pretty basic and you will find that it is easy to control the gunbrick. However, your objective is to try and find the quickest way out of the puzzling maps and find your way out.
Gunbrick is not free to play and it can be installed from Google Play Store here. You won’t find any in-app purchases, but you’ll need to pay $2.99 in order to install this title on your device.
Galaxy Trucker – $4.99
This is game that was originally released as a board game and now it has made its way to the virtual world. It uses a turn-based multiplayer system with a really fast-paced gameplay. Create your own spaceship out of space junk, use it to avoid meteors and defeat all the bad guys that are coming your way.
It supports online multiplayer games consisting of up to four players or you can choose to gather your friends and share a single Android device.If you don’t want to play against humans, then you can use the single player mode and fight off the AI characters.
Galaxy Trucker is live for all Android 4.0 and newer versions from Google Play Store here. Note that you can install it only by paying $4.99, but you will at least get a new Android video game that’s free of ads and in-app purchases.
