Huawei has already confirmed that they are going to hold en event in Munich during which they will unveil the new Mate 9. The company has shared some teasers for the event, focusing on the battery life of the device which will be great, according to the Huawei officials, but also on the camera of the phone which is said to be able to take impressive photos. Other than this, we've also seen a plethora of online reports, some of them claiming that the smartphone will be launched in two models, the standard Huaweo Mate 9 which will have a flat screen, and a Pro version that allegedly come with a curved display.
With this in mind, there is a new leak that surfaced today and it consists of a few images featuring the phone in real life, as well as some of its main characteristics. You can check out the images for yousrlf under this post. It looks like the images are showcasing the regular version of the Huawei Mate 9 because it flaunts a flat panel. You can also see the Huawei logo underneath the display, while the fingerprint recognition sensor is mounted on the back side. Also, on the back there is a dual camera setup, which according to previous rumors, it includes 20 MP camera and a 12 MP one. The camera setup comes alongside a dual LED flash and later autofocus.
The last leaked image is actually a pre-order listing, and apparently the phone will be sold by China Mobile. Apart from this, there are also some of the hardware components listed here including a QHD panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution that measures 5.9 inches. Moreover, it's listed that the terminal will come with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of on-board storage. Furthermore, the handset will be powered by the company's Kirin 960 SoC, and will be based on Android 7.0 Nougat, customized with the EMUI user interface. Finally, the rumor about the camera setup turned out to be accurate, because the image confirms that it will include a 20 MP sensor and a 12 MP one.
