ASUS Fonepad 7 is a tablet announced by the Taiwanese company in September 2013 and it released on the market the next month, in October. Unlike other tablets, the Fonepad 7 has support for phone calls.
ASUS Fonepad 7 measures 196.8 x 120 x 10.5 mm and has a weight of 328 grams. Just like its name suggests the device features a 7-inch screen. It has IPS LCD technology, a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, and 216 ppi pixel density.
The tablet was released with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on board and it’s upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The processing tasks are handled by an Intel AtomZ2560 chipset with dual-core 1.6 GHz CPU and PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU.
ASUS Fonepad 7 also arrives with 1 GB of RAM, support for microSD cards up to 32 GB, and it’s available in three storage versions 8, 16, and 32 GB. It has a 5 MP camera on the back that records Full HD videos and a 1.2 MP camera in the front with HD video recording support.
In terms of connectivity it arrives with HSPA, LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and microUSB 2.0. ASUS Fonepad 7 is available in two body colors: Sapphire Black and Diamond White.
