Asus released the PadFone X mini in October 2014 after they had announced it several days earlier. The device is 132.1 mm long, 66.3 mm wide, 12.7 mm thin and weights around 150 grams. It comes with a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 218 ppi. In addition, it runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and it’s underpinned by an Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz.
Memory-wise, it includes 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded with up to 64 GB via thanks to its built-in memory card slot. The Asus PadFone X mini sports a 5 megapixel primary camera with autofocus, LED flash which includes features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and is capable of recording full HD video. On its front, it also has a 2 MP secondary shooter.
The Asus PadFone X mini comes with several connectivity features including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth v4.0, AsDP, GPS, FM radio and microUSB 2.0. As for its operating system, it comes running Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Its Li-Ion 2060 battery cell promises an autonomy of 360 hours in stand-by and up to 15 hours of talk time.
The Padfone Station has a 7-inch IPS screen with an 1280 x 800 resolution, measures 203.7 x 119.4 x 11.2-21.1 mm, and wights around 150 grams. It also provides a low-end 1MP front camera and a 2200 mAh battery.
