ASUS Zenfone 2 was announced by the Taiwanese company in January at Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas. The device debuted on select markets in March 2015.
ASUS Zenfone 2 boasts about a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1080 x 1920) resolution, a pixel density of 403 ppi, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes pre-loaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop, customized with company’s ASUS ZenUI skin.
The smartphone is powered by an Intel-made Atom Z3580 chipset with quad-core 2.3 GHz CPU and PowerVR G6430 GPU. The device arrives with 16/32/64 GB storage, support for microSD cards up to 64 GB and it’s available with either 2 or 4 GB of RAM.
In the back of the Zenfone 2 there’s a 13 MP primary camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR, and 1080p video recording, while the front panel accommodates a 5 MP camera. The device is kept alive by a 3,000 mAh battery.
ASUS Zenfone 2 is 152.5 mm tall, 77.2 mm wide, and 10.9 mm thin, while weighing in at 170 grams. The connectivity features include HSPA, LTE, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, and microUSB 2.0.
