ASUS Zenfone Zoom is a camera-centric smartphone developed by the Taiwanese company. It was introduced in January 2015 and released on the market in the second half of the year.
ASUS Zenfone Zoom measures 158.9 x 78.8 x 12 mm and has a weight of 185 grams. It has a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1080 x 1920) resolution, 403 ppi pixel density, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The terminal runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with ASUS ZenUI on top of it. It’s powered by a quad-core 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3580 CPU with PowerVR G6430 GPU. It’s available with 16/32/64/128 GB of internal storage and either 2 or 4 GB of RAM. All models have support for microSD cards up to 64 GB.
ASUS Zenfone Zoom features a 13 MP primary camera with laser autofocus, 3x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR, and support for Full HD video recording. It also arrives with a 5 MP user-facing camera.
The connectivity features include LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and microUSB 2.0. It has a 3,000 mAh battery and it’s available in two body colors: Meteorite black and Glacier white.
