At CES 2015 in Las Vegas, the folks at HTC brought the Desire 826 smartphone. It has an appealing hardware platform and it was released on the market in February 2015.
HTC Desire 826 features a 5.5-inch SuperLCD3 display with 1080 x 1920 resolution and 401 ppi pixel density. It measures 158 x 77.5 x 8 mm and weighs in at 183 grams. The processing tasks are handled by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset with Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPUs and Adreno 405 GPU.
The smartphone features a 13 MP primary shooter with autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, simultaneous HD video and image recording, HDR, and 1080p video recording. The user-facing camera has a 4 MP resolution 1/3” sensor size and 2µm pixel size.
HTC Desire 826 has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and support for microSD cards up to 128 GB. The connectivity features include HSPA, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0.
The terminal comes pre-loaded with Android 5.0.1 Lollipo with HTC Sense UI on top. It also integrates a 2,600 mAh battery.
