G3 Beat was LG’s mid-range alternative for 2014. The device is also known as LG G3 S or LG G3 Vigor, name that is market-dependent. It’s available for purchase since August 2014.
LG G3 Beat is 137.7 mm tall, 69.6 mm wide, and 10.3 mm thin, while weighing in at 134 grams. It has a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 resolution and 294 ppi pixel density, and it’s running Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
When it comes to processing power, LG G3 Beat boasts about a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU with Adreno 305 graphics card. The handset has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, and microSD support up to 64 GB.
On the back of the LG G3 Beat there’s an 8 MP primary camera with laser autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, and 1080p video recording support. The secondary unit has a 1.3 MP sensor.
LG G3 Beat is LTE-compatible, has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and microUSB 2.0. The device is kept alive by a 2,540 mAh battery.
