Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is a dual-SIM smartphone with 4G LTE capabilities. It was officially announced in November 2014 and made its market debut later the same month.
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is 130.8 mm tall, 67.9 mm wide, 8.8 mm thin, and weighs in at 130 grams. It has a 4.5-inch screen with 480 x 800 resolution and a pixel density of 207 ppi. The device comes pre-loaded with Android 4.4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI on top of it.
The processing tasks are handled by a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset based on four Cortex A53 core clocked at 1.2 GHz and an Adreno 306 GPU. It also arrives with 8 GB of internal storage, microSD support up to 64 GB, and 1 GB of RAM.
Galaxy Core Prime packs a 5 MP rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, and 720p@30fps video recording support. It also has a 2 MP secondary camera.
Connectivity-wise it arrives with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and microUSB 2.0. Core Prime is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery that promises up to 13 hours of 3G talk time.
