Samsung Galaxy Premier was officially introduced to the public in November 2012. The South Korean phone maker released the device on select markets a few months later, in January 2013.
Samsung Galaxy Premier is 134.2 mm tall, 68 mm wide, and 9 mm thin, while having a weight of 130 grams. It features a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display with HD (720 x 1280) resolution and a pixel density of 316 ppi.
The terminal is powered by a TI OMAP 4470 processor with dual-core 1.5 GHz CPU and PowerVR SGX544 GPU, while integrating 1 GB of RAM, 8/16 GB storage, and microSD support up to 32 GB. Galaxy Premier was released with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean customized with TouchWiz UI and it hasn’t been updated since.
On the technical specifications list you will also find an 8 MP primary camera with autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, and 1080p@30fps video recording and a 1.9 MP secondary cam. Connectivity-wise it arrives with HSPA, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0.
Samsung Galaxy Premier is kept alive by a 2,100 mAh battery. It’s available in two body colors: White and Titanium Grey.
