Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 was unveiled by the South Korean company in November 2013. The dual SIM compatible smartphone was released on the select markets in December 2013.
Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 is kept alive by a 1,500 mAh battery that promises up to 8 hours of talk time, while sporting connectivity features such as HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio with RDS, and microUSB 2.0. It packs a 5 MP main cam with autofocus, LED flash, and HD video recording, and a VGA user-facing cam.
The terminal is underpinned by a BCM 28145/28155 chipset with dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 CPU and Broadcom VideoCore IV GPU, while sporting 4GB of internal storage, microSD slot (up to 64 GB supported), and 768 MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, of course, customized with company’s proprietary TouchWiz UI interface
Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 comes with a 4.0-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 resolution and a pixel density of 233 ppi. It measures 121.5 x 63.1 x 10.6 mm and has a weight of 118 grams.
