Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo was announced by the South Korean company in April 2014. It debuted almost two years after the original Galaxy S3 was announced, it’s a smartphone aimed at the customers looking for a mid-range device.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo comes with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 306 ppi pixel density, while being 136.6 mm tall, 70.8 mm wide, and 8.6 mm thin. It has a weight of 132 grams. The device was released with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on board and it’s upgradable to Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The terminal is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with quad-core 1.2 or 1.4 GHz Cortex A7 CPU (market dependent) and an Adreno 305 GPU. S3 Neo features 16 GB of storage, 1.5 GB of RAM, and microSD support up to 64 GB.
The smartphone is equipped with an 8 MP primary camera with autofocus, LED flash, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, and full HD video recording, and a 1.9 MP secondary camera. Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo brings connectivity features such as HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, and microUSB 2.0.
