Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is a high-end smartphone developed by Samsung which aims to attract the customers that are involved in fitness activities. It was announced and released on the market in June 2014 and, as it’s name suggest, it shares many of the original Galaxy S5’s features.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is IP67 certified which means that it’s dust and water resistant up to 1 meter and 30 minutes. It has a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 432 ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, while running Android 4.4.2 KitKat with TouchWiz UI.
The smartphone integrates a 16 MP primary camera with autofocus, LED flash, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, Aqua mode, and 4K video recording and a 2 MP secondary shooter. Connectivity-wise it arrives with LTE, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, NFC, and microUSB 2.0.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is powered by a 2,800 mAh battery. The processing tasks are handled by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, paired with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, and support for microSD cards up to 128 GB.
