In April 2014, Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 4 line-up of tablets. There are three members in the family and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is the largest of them. The tablet was made available for purchase in June 2014 and it’s available with WiFi-only, WiFi+3G, and WiFi+LTE.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked 1.2 GHz and it features 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB storage, and microSD support (up to 64 GB). The device has a 3.15 MP camera mounted on the back that is capable of recording HD videos and a 1.3 MP user-facing shooter.
As its name suggests, the tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch display which brings TFT technology, a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and a pixel density of 149 ppi. Software-wise, the 10.1-inch slate arrives with Android 4.4.2 KitKat with TouchWiz UX on top.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 includes connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, infrared port, and microUSB 2.0. It comes with a Li-Po 6,800 mAh battery that should be enough for 208 hours of music playback.
