Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 was officially announced in January 2014 and it was released on the Market in March, the same year. The tablet is available with either WiFi + LTE or WiFi-only.
Samsung’s tablet boasts about a 10.1-inch Super Clear LCD display with an impressive resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 299 ppi. It comes pre-loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat, of course, customized with Sammy’s proprietary TouchWiz UI.
The WiFi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 5 Octa 5420 SoC with Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPUs and Mali T628 MP6 GPU. On the other hand, the LTE-enabled model features Qualcomm’s quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU and an Adreno 330 GPU.
The technical specifications list also includes 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB storage, and support for microSD cards up to 64 GB. The tablet integrates an 8 MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p@30fps video recording and a 2 MP user-facing camera ideal for video calls. In terms of connectivity, it arrives with WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, infrared port, and microUSB 2.0.
