Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 was introduced to the public at CES 2014, along with Tab Pro 8.4 and Tab Pro 10.1. The biggest model of the family was released on the market in March 2014 in two body colors (Black and White) and three connectivity options (WiFi-only, WiFi+3G, and WiFi+LTE).
The processing tasks of both the WiFi-only and the WiFi+3G models are handled by an octa-core Exynos 5 5420 chipset with Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPUs and Mali T628 MP6 GPU, while the WiF+LTE variant is underpinned by a Snapdragon 800 CPU at 2.3 GHz and an Adreno 330 GPU. You can also add 3 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB storage, and microSD support (up to 64 GB) to the technical specifications list.
Samsung Galax Tab Pro 12.2 is equipped with an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash, autofocus, and 1080p video recording and a 2 MP secondary camera, also capable of recording 1080p videos. The tablet features a 9,500 mAh battery and connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, infrared port, and microUSB 2.0.
