Xperia E3 is a budget-orientated Sony smartphone that was officially announced in September 2014 and released on the market later the same month. Since it’s a budget phone, the hardware platform is not that impressive.
Sony Xperia E3 arrives with a 4.5-inch IPS screen with 480 x 854 resolution, 218 ppi pixel density, and shutter proof glass. It’s running Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box with Sony’s custom skin on top and it’s powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor with quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU.
The smartphone is equipped with 4 GB of microSD-expandable storage (up to 32 GB supported) and 1 GB of RAM. On the back there’s a 5 MP primary shooter with autofocus, LED flash, and full HD video recording, while the front panel accommodates a VGA sensor.
In terms of connectivity, Sony Xperia Z3 arrives with HSPA, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0. It integrates a 2,330 mAh battery, measures 137.1 x 69.4 x 8.5 mm, and weighs in at 144 grams.
