The official wallpapers that will be present in the future Android 5.0 Lollipop release are now live for download. Each new Android version that gets released will always feature new downloadable contents such as audio ringtones, wallpapers, new icons or APKs.

Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with tons of changes over the Android 4.4.x KitKat, but its Wallpapers Collection are not that much different than the ones we used to see on older builds. The new collection of Lollipop 5.0 wallpapers consists of various geometrical shapes and some other scenery that looks like it has been taken from a satellite and then painted over by a not very talented artist. Not a single background depicts a lollipop, which might only be featured somewhere in the 'About Phone' section of your device as an 'easter egg'.

The new Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with Material Design user interface that far more responsive, natural looking and much more intuitive than any other interface design ever seen on an Android-based smartphone or tablet. Besides the graphic changes you will also get the bran new intelligent Notifications menu and tweaks, Battery Saver function, better security patches, device sharing capabilities with new multi-user support, screen pinning, and others more.

Before the new OS update arrives on your devices you can download Android 5.0 Lollipop Wallpapers package file from here or here. After the download is complete you will need to extract its contents and then move them on to your device's storage.

Note that the he resolution of these images varies from 2323 up to 3808 in width, while most of them are no larger than 2560 in height. These new wallpapers will look best on bigger screens. Tell us in comments which if you like the new backgrounds from Android 5.0 and which one you've set as default on your device.
