Sony has officially announced the latest additions to its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers for May 2025. As usual, the new games are split into two categories: one for Extra subscribers, featuring a broad selection of PS4 and PS5 titles, and another for Premium members, which also includes access to classic games from previous console generations.

As per usual practice, these new titles won’t be available for download immediately. Subscribers will need to wait a bit longer, with the new additions becoming accessible starting the morning of May 20, 2025.
Games Leaving the PS Plus Catalog in May
With new arrivals also come some departures. Over 20 games are scheduled to be removed from the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries in May. These titles will remain available only until May 20, 2025. After that date, they will no longer be accessible through the subscription service.
Players who wish to continue playing any of the expiring titles will need to purchase them separately. Therefore, subscribers are encouraged to finish any in-progress games before the removal deadline.
PS Plus Essential – Already Available This Month
In addition to the Extra and Premium tiers, PS Plus Essential also has new titles for May 2025, which were made available at the beginning of the month. The Essential tier lineup includes:

These games are available to all active PS Plus Essential members until 10:00 AM on June 3, 2025. Once added to a subscriber’s library, the games remain accessible as long as the subscription remains active.
PlayStation Plus: A Tiered Subscription Service
PlayStation Plus is a paid subscription service for PlayStation users that provides access to a rotating selection of games, online multiplayer features, cloud save storage, and exclusive discounts through the PlayStation Store.
