Google Play Movies & TV Now Available in 38 New Countries

Google has released the Play Movies & TV application to over forty different new countries in Europe, Africa, South and Central America and Asia. Check the Google Play Store and see if the app has been released in your region.

Starting today the following countries: Aruba, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, Gabon, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Ivory Coast, Luxembourg, Mali, Mauritius, Namibia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Niger, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Rwanda, Senegal,  Sweden, Togo, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia, are getting support for Google Play Movies & TV

Google Play Movies & TV is a tool that you can use to watch TV Series and Movies that you bought or rented using Google Play service.  It is one of the most used platforms for viewing movies and any television series that are available in all the selected regions. This app is installed on over 100 million Android tablets and smartphones.

Note that the TV Shows are only available in US, United Kingdom, Japan and Australia only, as this new update only brings support for Play Movies in these new countries. Besides the new support added for various worldwide states you will get bug fixes, app tweaks and the possibility to download HD movies in HD or SD quality for offline viewing.
