Those of you who had the occasion of getting their hands on a Huawei terminal or actually owning one, even a budget model, are aware of the fact that the China-based phone maker is using quality materials when it comes to the design of their handsets. Recent rumors are talking about even bigger plans for the manufacturer, and some leaked photos are revealing what it seems to be a flagship model with interesting design and materials.

It's not the first time we are hearing the tech publications gossiping about the Huawei EDGE, which is supposed to become the next-gen flagship of the company and one of the most powerful smartphones of the year. Moreover, the first leaked pictures of the terminal that went live recently are revealing a remarkable design and premium materials used for the body case of the device.

Besides the aspects related to the construction of the terminal, Huawei EDGE is reportedly boasting a full HD display sized 4.9 inches (diagonally). Moreover, sources say that the hardware configuration is based on a quad-core chipset (some say it's Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800), with 2 GB of RAM and a 2,600 mAh battery that should be enough to give EDGE a satisfactory battery life.

Huawei EDGE will have a 13 megapixel camera mounted on the back, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and internal storage capacities of up to 64 GB.

With a design like this and amazing technical specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, and Sony Xperia Z suddenly have a new powerful rival coming strait from China.

Would you prefer the Huawei EDGE in front of the aforementioned terminals if the price is right? Spout off in the comments section below.
