The guys at evleaks have done it again revealing a photo of what it seems to be the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The design doesn't look like anything Samsung has launched so far? Well this change of looks checks with the rumors saying the South Korean phone maker will change the direction of their design language with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
It was only a couple of days ago when we telling that a Samsung insider said that the creators of the Galaxy S line-up will no longer use plastic for their high-end terminals. It seems that Samsung also planned to use aluminium for the body of the Galaxy S4 but this would have meant delaying the smartphone's launch.
The same insider told Sammobile that the Samsung officials saw that the public showed a lot of interest in the aluminium unibody construction of the HTC One, therefore the South Korea-based company must fight back, and the Galaxy Note 3 will be its first smartphone to embrace a whole new design language and an aluminium body.
What made us believe we are looking at the Samsung Galaxy Note 3? I'm glad you've asked. First of all if you look closer you will see that there's a hole in the lower right corner of the device, which should be just perfect for accommodating the S-Pen stylus that accompanies the members of the Galaxy Note family. Secondly the interface in the picture looks a lot like Samsung's Nature UX. Moreover, it seems to be the WiFi Direct menu.
Anyway, we can't know for sure whether this is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or not, therefore we are recommending you to take the rumor with a pinch of salt. Just in case you want to hear more Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumors, I will remind you that the tech publications have already speculated about most of the technical specifications of the next-gen Sammy phablet.
Sources say that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come with a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, while the processing tasks will be handled by the same Exynos 5 Octa SoC from the Galaxy S4.
Looking back at the previous Samsung Galaxy Note releases, we might speculate and say that the Galaxy Note 3 release date will in the September 1-5 time frame. The first Galaxy Note was released at IFA Berlin 2011, followed by the Galaxy Note 2 that was introduced in the week prior to the Berlin-based tech fair. We are expecting Samsung to act the same with the launch of the Galaxy Note 3, therefore we might be seeing the new tablet unveiled during a Samsung Unpacked event in the week prior to IFA 2013, the even that will open its gates for the public on September 6th.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might also be Sammy's first smartphone to come pre-loaded with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. With the new Android iteration expected to debut this May at Google I/O 2013 event, the Samsung engineers will have enough time to optimize it for the new phablet. The Galaxy Note 3 might also come with the S Orb camera feature, which will be Samsung's name for Photo Sphere 360 degree panorama photos.
