LeEco is a phone maker based in China that has launched a number of devices in 2016 such as the Le Max 2 and the Le Pro3, which are both flagships, but the company also released he Le S3 which fits perfectly in the mid-tier segment. The manufacturer wants to have success in the United States and it announced the Le Pro3 and the Le S3 in the market. The main feature of the handsets is their low prices considering their hardware and premium design. Anyway, it looks like a new model of the Le S3 is on its way.

The version of the Le S3 that is already available has a Full HD IPS screen that meaures 5.5 inches. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapragon 652 SoC, which is coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage. The handset is kept alive by a battery with a 3,000 mAh capacity. Moreover, the casing is manufactured out of metal material, and the back side flaunts a fingerprint recognition sensor. So, a new model of the smartphone just appeared in the AnTuTu database, and this particular model has better specs than the currently available one, if the document is accurate. Anyhow, it looks like this variant will ship with a display that will have a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and memory-wise, it will include 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of builtin storage.

Under the hood, it will boast a MediaTek Helio X20 processor. Furthermore, the SoC will be helped by a Mali-T880 GPU in terms of graphics rendering. On the software side of things, it will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, customized with the eUI user interface. Photos will be taken with the help of a 21 MP back-facing main camera, which is better than the one of the initial model, which integrates a 16 MP shooter. As far as the selfie snapper is concerned, it will come with the same 8 MP shooter.

Returning to the AnTuTu benchmark test itself, the phone scored a number of 95,000 points, which a very impressive if we take into consideration the fact that we are talking about a mid-ranger. There is no information about the release date of the new model of the Le S3, but it will probably be announced before the end of the year.
