As confirmed by Lenovo last week, the company today launched the K6 Power Android smartphone in the Indian market. The K6 Power, as the name suggests, packs a large 4000mAh capacity battery inside, delivering up to 12.6 hours of web surfing, up to 13.6 hours of continuous video playback, and 27 days of standby time. It even supports reverse charging via USB OTG, which means you can charge your other portable devices through the K6 Power’s 4000 mAh battery.

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD IPS display with a claimed maximum brightness of 450 nits. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 64-bit chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz, with the Adreno 505 GPU. The octa-core chipset has been paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded thanks to a microSD card slot.

The rear camera utilizes the 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor with phase detection autofocus and an LED flash. On the front is an 8MP Sony IMX219 sensor for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS with GLONASS, dual-SIM support, FM Radiom USB OTG, and 4G LTE. The smartphone also comes with a fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos, and TheaterMax technology for VR. It measures 141.9 x 70.3 x 9.3mm and weighs in at 145 grams. The K6 Power runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, with Lenovo’s custom Android UI layer on top.

The Lenovo K6 Power will be sold exclusively by Flipkart starting December 6th at 12PM. Don’t worry though, the smartphone will not be sold via the flash sale method, so you should be able to get your hands on the K6 Power quite easily. Priced at Rs.9,999, the smartphone will be available in Dark Gray, Gold, and Silver color options. Overall, the Lenovo K6 Power definitely seems like a great device and offers fantastic value for money at Rs.9,999.
