Nextbit’s unique offering the Robin is now more affordable than ever. The company today announced a $100 price cut on the Robin, bringing its price down to $299. And yes, it is a permanent price cut and not a temporary one.

The price cut isn’t limited to just the United States either, no matter where you’re from, you will be able order the Nextbit Robin for $299. Of course, if Nextbit doesn’t ship to your location, you will not be able to order one. But if they do, you won’t need to spend extra on shipping either, as standard shipping is free as well.

In the US, consumers have been able to buy the Robin for $299 since earlier this month as Amazon has been selling the smartphone at that price lately. Now however, everyone can buy the smartphone at the same price. The company had also recently entered the Indian market, where it launched the Robin at a price tag of Rs.19,999, which roughly converts to $299 as well.

At $299, the Nextbit Robin is definitely a pretty good buy and does have quite a lot to offer. The Robin packs a 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of non-expandable internal memory, a very capable 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 2680mAh capacity battery, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, and all the latest connectivity features. The software is fairly impressive too with minimal skinning and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box now. The design, even though not very premium in terms of feel, is quite unique and will definitely to individuals who want something that looks quite unlike any other smartphone on the market right now. When you look at the complete package on offer, there really aren’t many other smartphones at this price point that have as much or more to offer you.

Now that the Nextbit Robin is down to $299, do you think the cloud-first smartphone is now a good value for money option? Leave a comment down below and tell us what you think.
