Xiaomi has been a very successful company for a few years now and it seems that thinks are looking better for them in 2017 as well. The China-based phone maker sold no less than 250,000 Redmi Note 4 units on the Indian market in just 10 minutes. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4, which fits in the mid-tier category, just a few days ago and they organized a flash sale. It looks like the Indian consumers are very excited about the smartphone taking into consideration the fact that so many devices were purchase in such a short time. The company stated that this flash sale is the "biggest smartphone sale in the history of India". The customers who wanted to get their hands on the device bought it using the manufacturer official site and via Flipkart, which is one of the most important retailers in the state.

Looking at these numbers, we can say that the Redmi Note 4 is much more popular in India than the Redmi 3s and Redmi Note 3 which were released in the past because the demand for these two phone was not as high. Returning to Flipkart, the retailer claims that only two models of the smartphone will be available on January 30th, specifically the one with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory and the version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. In terms of color, you can choose from the Dark Gray and Gold options. The Xiaomi officials stated that the Matte Black option will be put on sale as well, but it will be available in the third week if February. Moreover, the 2 GB RAM version of the smartphone has also been announced in India and it will become available for purchase next Friday, the customers being able to buy it though the company's website.
