Galaxy Note 2 is a phablet that should hit the global market in the last quarter of 2012, but US Celullar and Samsung India are already accepting pre-orders. People from these parts of the world are now able to place a pre-order and the 5.5 inch device should reach their doorsteps first.
The US residents can pre-order the device from US Cellular at a price of $299.99 for a two-year contract. Indian users can per-order the device via Samsung India and they need to pay 5000 rupees ( approximately $92 ) first, while the rest of the amount will be paid when the Note 2 is on sale. Also, Samsung India, will ship a free desktop dock along with the smartphone-tablet device for every user that places a pre-order.
These offers are only available for the 16GB GT N7100 variant of Galaxy Note 2. Note that the Samsung India doesn't accept pre-order cancellation and this means that the device might cost around $750 and you should consider this price before deciding to place your order.
As you might already know, the Galaxy Note 2 GT 7100 packs 1.6 GHz Exynos quad-core CPU, a 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, a 3100 mAh battery and it is the first Samsung device that will sport the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Also, the device has support for an extra 64GB microSD.
Besides the device, you will receive the S-Pen stylus, the travel charger, USB charger and a Quick Start guide which teaches you how to use the Premium Suite pack.
If you want to place a pre-order then you should click HERE for the US Cellular web-site. Note that the pre-order is web-only.
If you're from India, then you go to Samsung India web-site HERE and place your pre-order. Note that you will receive a Free Desktop Dock.
The device will be shipped out to your home in Q4 2012 sometime in November. However, the US Celullar web-site states that the device should ship out by the end of October. Post your thoughts and impressions in our comments field below.
