Xiaomi has some very compelling high-end devices in its portfolio, but the company is know for its budget smartphones as well, represented by the Redmi lineup, which is also very appealing because it has a low price. This year, the manufacturer released several Redmi handset such as the Redmi 3, Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3 Pro, Redmi 3s, Redmi 3s Prime, Redmi 3x, Redmi Pro and Redmi Note 4. There is another one which is rumored to see the light of day sometime in the following weeks called Redmi 4.

Rumor has it that the smartphone will be launched in the near future, but we are not sure when will this exactly happen. The company is expected to share the release date of the phone, but in the meantime, the Redmi 4 just receive the TENAA certification, accompanied by the Redmi 4A. Thanks to the TENAA certification document, we now know how the devices will look like, but also what kind of hardware will they be bringing. In terms of design, there aren't any big differences between the two terminals. They will both have metal casings, and will feature three capacitive keys under the screen. The fingerprint recognition sensor will be located on the back side, while on the right side there will be the power button and the volume rocker. The difference comes when when we look the camera setup and the speakers because they have a distinct position.

In terms of specs, the Redmi 4 will come with an IPS display that will measure 5 inches and will have 1080p resolution. Under the hood, it will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 CPU, and a 4,000 mAh battery. The amour of RAM will be 3 GB, while having 32 GB of native storage. In the imaging section, the smartphone will include a 13 MP camera located on the back, and a 5 MP front-facing snapper that can be used for video calls and selfies. The software of choice for the handset will be Android 6.0 Marshmallow tweaked with the MIUI 8 user interface.

Moving on to the Redmi 4A, it will feature a display having the same size but with a resolution of 1280 x 720. Memory-wise, it will ship with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage that can be expanded. Also, it will be underpinned by the Snapdragon 425, and will be kep alive by a battery with the capacity of 3,000 mAh. As far as the cameras are concerned, it will boast the same ones as the Redmi 4.
