As you might know, Huawei is preparing a new smartphone for its customers. The Ascend P1 is rumored to be a high end handset with some impressive specs (you can explore them a little bit later) that should impress the audience. Anyway, even if so far there were only rumors regarding to this Android based device, we managed to find the first clues about the Huawei Ascend P1 release date and its future availability on the market, so if you’re interested further info are detailed below.

Huawei is well known worldwide for its mid-range, budget friendly smartphones which are similar in design with devices more popular such as Samsung’s Galaxy S 2, Nexus, or Apple’s iPhone. So, the company managed to surprise the customers with devices that run decent performances, are available on a cheap price tag and have impressive looks. Personally, I think that the Huawei smartphones are perfect for the entry level users, who are not yet used with high end gadgets.

The Ascend P1 was first introduced and also confirmed at CES 2012 in Las Vegas few months ago. The phone will come with a large 4.3 inch screen with qHD 960 x 540 pixels resolution, a dual core 1.5 GHz Texas Instrument OMAP processor, 1 GB of RAM, HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0 and 4 GB of internal storage memory. Pretty impressive isn’t it. But, its main strength is represented by the OS. Huawei will provide a phone that comes with the latest Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, preinstalled. The phone will be available in three colors: black, white and pink. So, I think we can name the Ascend P1 Huawei’s biggest performance on the market so far.

According to our sources, the Huawei Ascend P1 release date is set to debut on mid-April. The smartphone will first be made available in China. Shortly after that it is expected in Australia, UK, Japan, Russia, Germany, Sweden, and France. Unfortunately there are no words about a North America release, but who knows; maybe it will be announced afterword. Also, we couldn’t find anything regarding to the future Ascend P1 price offer, so I’m guessing that we will have to wait a little bit more. Stay close as we will update you with fresh news.
