If you got your Samsung Galaxy S3 from Veriozion this will be nothing but good news for you. Just like you probably read above, the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 is now rolling out.

Of course, don't expect it to be major as you will barely notice the differences between VRBMB1 and the previous build, but I am sure you will want it installed on your Samsung Galaxy S3 as the new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean brings some bug fixes and performance improvements.

On the list of changes brought by the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 you will find improvements for the keyboard and Bluetooth, you will be able to use the camera while placing a call, or manual refresh for the stock ticker that apperas on the lock screen.

As usual, the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 will roll out OTA and we are recommending you to update your smartphone while connected to a WiFi hotspot as the firmware update has a size of 150 MB.

If you are reading this and you have't yet received the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update on your Samsung Galaxy S3, you might want to check yourself whether it landed on your smartphone or not. To do so you will have to head to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates and tap on check for updates.

I will remind you that Samsung Galaxy S3 for Verizon comes with a 4.8-inch display with Super AMOLED technology and HD resolution, 2 GB of RAM, 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD video recording, 16/32/64 GB of internal storage and microSD card support, plus NFC, Wifi in all standards, and many other goodies.

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor compared to the international version that comes with a quad-core Exynos 4 Quad processor based on 1.4 GHz A9 cores. As you probably know, the South Korea-based company decided to fit a dual-core processor because the Exynos 4 Quad unit wasn't compatible with the 4G LTE networks in US.

Did the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update landed on your Samsung Galaxy S3? Please inform us in the comments section below.

I got the update yesterday and then I wanted to see all the changes in 4.1.2. When I went to the support site... I couldn't find anything about it. So, from my phone, I started a chat session with samsung. While still trying to get the info... my samsung galaxy s3 keyboard stopped functioning. I couldnt continue the chat session because everytime I went to type a response to the chat person... I repeatedly got an error that the "samsung keyboard stopped working". So much for the bug fixes to the keyboard. I also noticed that the auto correct has changed or has a bug as well. It used to be that when I finished selecting a word... I would get the option to select a comma, question mark, etc. Now I get words like "I", "the", etc. That is really annoying as all I want is to be able to finish my sentence automatically by selecting some punctuation like before. It seems like this update is worse with regard to the keyboard functionality!

I can't believe more people aren't talking about this! I have similar problems and even noticed another big one with the "new and improved" keyboard. Having to go to the "123" button to get punctuation is a huge waste of time. I liked how if you were done with your sentence and didn't want to use the next predicted word you could hit backspace and the punctuation options would come up at the top. But even worse, my keyboard has crashed a dozen times already in a week! Once it crashes you cannot type anymore on whatever you were doing at the time. While I do think the next word prediction is much better, there seems to be some sort of glitch. I haven't pinned down the exact sequence yet, but I believe it goes like this (sorry if I made it confusing): you are typing and select a word based on your first couple letters. Then you select the second word from the predictive text but then you don't want to use it so you hit backspace to delete the second word. I believe at that point if you select another word it will erase almost your entire entry. Again, I'm not 100% certain on the exact sequence but all I know is that I have had to retype entire text message, emails, and web entries and it is ridiculous. I am typing this on the desktop because I don't want to take the chance!
