The smartphone market is evolving with each year passing by and there are several Chinese manufacturers that have emerged in the last couple of years. Still, there are some companies that have been in the mobile business for quite a while and are still producing respectable devices, one of them being ZTE. Earlier this month, the company officials attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), and they reveal a few important handsets, but two of them gain our attention a little more, namely the ZTE Blade V8 and the Blade V8 Pro. Nevertheless, it appears that the brand is planning to release a third member of the family that will be called ZTE Blade V8 Lite and will be based on the latest iteration of Google's operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat.

You can check out the certification underneath the article and you will notice that it's dated January 24th. The certificate also includes the name of the phone as well as the OS it will be running. We guess that the Blade V8 Lite will be available for purchase in the near future because the phones are usually certified with little time before they are put on sale. Anyway, we expect the terminal to hit the shelves in February or March. The China-based company will be present at the Mobile World Congress which will take place next month and the execs stated that they will show us a "breakthrough concept phone". Even though the Blade V8 Lite will most likely be displayed at the event, we doubt that this is the device they were talking about.

It's not the first time when ZTE launches several versions of a phone, on the contrary, this practice does not surprise anyone. The company has a habit of introducing three smartphone models in order to offer products for the entire market, specifically budget, mid-tier, and premium handsets, thus the Blade V8 Lite, Blade V8 and Blade V8 Pro make all the sense in the world. When it comes to the technical specifications of the terminal, there are none available, not even rumored nor a leaked imaged. However, judging by the other members of the Blade family and what are low-end phones equipped with nowadays, we can guess that the Blade V8 Lite will come with a 5-inch display that will have a resolution of 1280 x 720. In the imaging sector, it's unlikely that the Lite variant of the series would have a dual camera setup, and its primary shooter will probably have an 8 MP sensor.

Under the hood, we expect that the phone will sports a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 435 SoC. In terms of memory, the smartphone could include 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. Of course, we know for sure from the certificate that the ZTE Blade V8 will have dual SIM capabilities, 4G LTE connectivity and the fact that will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, which is great because in most cases budget-friendly variants come pre-installed with Android Marshmallow.

As far as the availability details are concerned, the ZTE Blade Lite should be hit the stores in countries such as China, Nigeria, Indian the UK, Pakistan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. When it comes to pricing, we don't know yet how much money will the consumers have to pay for it, but it will surely be less expensive that the Pro version which costs $230.

So, when you think about it, you have to realize that the Blade V8 family offer a great deal of nice features for their worth, and the Lite variant will probably have a great success in emerging countries like the ones mentioned above.
